Menopause can quietly chip away at your calm, your sleep, and your sense of who you are. But you don’t have to manage it by yourself.

Hypnotherapy works by helping your nervous system settle and your mind become more responsive to positive change. It is, quite simply, deeply restful for both mind and body.
In this relaxed state, we make it easier to:
✓ reduce anxiety
✓ sleep more soundly
✓ feel emotionally balanced
✓ rebuild confidence
✓ feel like yourself again
My clients' experiences are individual and varied. Through calm, one-to-one sessions, we focus entirely on you; your situation and symptoms, your pace, your goals.
When you book with Monarch Hypnotherapy, you work directly with me in a private, supportive space.
I’m a fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist and certified menopause coach who specialises in supporting women with anxiety and those navigating peri-menopause, menopause, and post-menopause.
My approach is calm, practical and compassionate. There’s no pressure, no judgement, and definitely no 'stage hypnosis' style techniques! Just a safe, supportive space where you can relax and work towards real, lasting change.
I offer sessions either face-to-face or online, so you can choose what feels most comfortable.

I understand that taking the first step can feel big when you are struggling. My process is designed to be supportive, clear, and reassuring from the very start.
1. Free Initial Consultation - 30 minutes
This is a relaxed, no-obligation phone or Zoom call where we discuss what you’re struggling with and what you hope to achieve. You can ask any questions you have, and we can determine if hypnotherapy is the right fit for you.
In turn, I will use this time to understand your specific needs, which allows me to formulate a tailored treatment pathway for you.
2. Tailored Hypnotherapy Sessions
Whether in-person or online, each session is a safe space designed to use the power of your own mind to create profound, positive changes.
You’ll also receive guidance, a hypnosis MP3 recording, and practical techniques you can use between sessions to continue your progress.

Hypnotherapy can be a really effective option if you're experiencing menopause-related anxiety, sleep difficulties, low mood, or loss of confidence - whether you're in perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause.
It works well alongside other treatments, including HRT, so you don't need to choose between approaches. Many of my clients come to me having already tried other things, and find that hypnotherapy helps address the emotional and psychological side of menopause in a way that complements their existing care.
You don't need any prior experience of hypnotherapy, and you don't need to be in crisis to benefit. If menopause is affecting your quality of life, even in ways that feel hard to put into words, it's worth having a conversation.
If you're unsure whether it's the right fit for you, the free initial consultation is the perfect place to find out. There's no commitment, no pressure, and no obligation to continue.

Hypnotherapy works by accessing the subconscious mind to calm the nervous system and regulate the body’s stress response. During menopause, fluctuating hormones can heighten anxiety, disrupt sleep, and trigger hot flushes. Through guided relaxation, visualization, and hypnotic suggestion, hypnotherapy helps rewire how your brain responds to these physiological changes, reducing symptom severity and restoring a sense of calm.
Yes. Clinical studies show that mind-body techniques, including hypnotherapy, can significantly reduce both the frequency and intensity of hot flushes and night sweats. By using cooling visualisations and somatic relaxation techniques, you learn to gently manage thermal comfort and soothe your body’s stress response when a hot flush begins.
Menopause often brings insomnia, early waking, or a racing mind at bedtime. Hypnotherapy guides your brain into the slow, restorative alpha and theta brainwave states necessary for sleep. It releases daytime tension, quietens overthinking, and installs positive subconscious cues that encourage uninterrupted, deep rest.
Absolutely. Hypnotherapy is a natural, complementary approach that works safely alongside HRT or non-hormonal medical treatments. It addresses the emotional, psychological, and nervous system aspects of menopause that medication alone may not fully resolve.
Many clients notice positive shifts in anxiety, stress, and sleep after just 2 to 4 personalised sessions. Downloadable hypnosis recordings are also highly effective as a standalone tool or support between sessions, giving you a repeatable, daily space to deeply relax and reinforce positive mental suggestions.
Yes. 1-to-1 hypnotherapy sessions are just as effective online via video call as they are in person. Being in your own comfortable home environment often allows for deeper relaxation and easier integration into your daily routine.
