In many cases struggling to sleep or waking up numerous times a night is often due to worry and anxiety from past or current issues.  It may be a result of a stressful event such as a bereavement or difficulties with money or at work. It can also be the result of poor routine or sleeping environment, or a symptom of perimenopause/menopaause.


 If you have been dealing with this for a long time it can become a habit that needs to be broken.

 Hypnosis is the perfect tool to alleviate your symptoms. Rather than suppressing the problem, hypnotherapy can identify and, more importantly, correct the unique cause of your insomnia.


 I can help you change the way you sleep so that you wake up feeling refreshed and energised. This may require a selection of the following;

  • Address any underlying stress or anxiety
  • Fix unhealthy sleeping habits
  • Change the way you think about sleep
  • Correct negative thinking patterns
  • Tap back into your own innate ability to sleep
  • Create a healthy sleeping pattern

My approach to Hypnotherapy for insomnia

 My hypnotherapy approach combines evidence-based practice with a compassionate understanding of each client's journey.  

Each hypnosis session is tailor-made for you - I work collaboratively with my clients to identify their goals and develop a personalised treatment plan. 


During your hypnotherapy for insomnia sessions, we can reprogram unwanted habits, beliefs, or behaviours that cause insomnia through relaxation, guided imagery, positive hypnotic suggestions, and other techniques. 

The result? A good night's sleep...night after night


Following the initial consultation, my clients typically require 3 (or 4) hypnotherapy sessions to treat their insomnia. However, the number of sessions you require will depend on your needs and circumstances.


 Listening to the pre-recorded sessions I provide and practising the self-hypnosis and other self-help techniques I teach you, are effective ways to continue boosting your progress between sessions.
